As part of The Flow Group, we are an accredited World Land Trust (WLT) Carbon Balanced Printer. This means that with every you order from us, you can choose carbon-balanced packaging (with or without branding stating as much).
We even provide you with a monthly report and certificate highlighting how many Kg of CO2 you've offset and how many m2 of endangered carbon-rich habitats you've directly protected.
As a company, we are also able to offset our carbon emissions by supporting vital conservation projects around the globe through the WLT.
The Head Patron of the WLT is none other than the legendary Sir David Attenborough. He states that, "The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of."
All Co. brands form part of a pledge to the SME Climate Pledge, which enables SMEs like Business Building Co.. to make an internationally recognised climate commitment and measure our commitment via the SME Climate Hub's tools and resources.
By collaborating with other like-minded businesses, we are actively pursuing ambitious goals to diminish greenhouse gas emissions, confront environmental challenges, and promote a sustainable future.
This collaborative effort aims to achieve a 50% reduction in our carbon footprint by 2030, ultimately reaching complete carbon neutrality by 2050.

We love how they dismiss the myths about the sustainability of print and packaging, which is why it was a no-brainer to support these organisations and join at the partner level.
Together, we raise awareness about the responsible sourcing of paper, recycling initiatives, greenwashing, and the positive impact of well-managed forests.

It would be pretty ironic if we did all the above but didn't do anything to reduce the environmental impact from the very place we operate. Thankfully, sustainable improvements have and continue to form a large part of our investments for the next 12 months.
Following the detailed feedback from an Energy Resource Survey and consultation, we have installed energy-efficient LED lighting throughout all our premises, are installing solar panels to utilise renewable energy, and are making fabric enhancements to improve insulation.
These are a true win-win as we reduce our environmental impact and bills!
